Vintage Vogue Scrapbooking

The charming aesthetics of the styles from times past have endured through the decades and will linger in our presence forevermore. In a technology driven world, a love for all things vintage reveals the respect we have for an era that shaped the lives of our grandparents and great grandparents.

Scrapbooking in vintage style is a truly rewarding and wonderful experience. Much more than just creating a lovely layout, this type of scrapping is something we hold dear to our hearts, as it celebrates the lives of our elder relatives, while providing us with insight and understanding of our heritage.

The popularity of all things from yesteryear has ensured that there are masses of heritage and vintage paper designs to choose from, but the real magic of a vintage layout lies in its selection of embellishments. The small trinkets and treasures such as clock pieces, lace, rulers and such do so much more than simply depict an old photograph - these are the elements that connect us with our elders and ancestors. Check out our Simply Vintage and Simply Heritage CDs for vintage papers, templates, and elements.

On a serious note, you can never be too careful when working with old photographs. These are priceless images and its unlikely there are negatives. So before you do any scrapping, duplicate the originals and store them in a safe place. Too many of us have had the utterly unfortunate and heartbreaking experience with a one-of-a-kind photo and the paper trimmer!
