In a recent photography
class I taught at a scrapbook retreat, I shared a
slideshow of some recent favorite images/collages, which is
also posted on our site. Adobe Photoshop has a great easy-to-use tool for
making web gallery slide shows.
The hardest part is organizing all of your
images into one folder. I kept adding more and more images (I know
Mom...they are ALL my favorite, right?!). I made copies of these in
another folder, so as not to harm the originals. Note: you need to name
your images to be web compatible, such as without spaces.
Once you have your images selected and named
for web compatibility, simply open Photoshop (I have CS3). Click
File>Automate>Web Photo Gallery and a detailed dialog (below right) will
open with everything you need to do. Follow the steps below, and feel free
to go with the defaults on your first run.
