How can I change the color of a title?

1

Colorizing Titles
To coordinate with your art

"I love all the word art in the Simply Love Element Pak. However, is it possible to change the color of the titles from black to something else?"

Yes, the titles can be any color you would like! There are several ways to accomplish this. Below are two ways.

1) Drag desired word art overlay onto layout. In Adobe Photoshop CS, double-click the layer of the title to bring up the Blending Mode dialog box. In this box Click Color Overlay and choose the color you would like the title to be from the color box on the top and then click OK (you can even choose the color right from your layout or photo using the color picker tool).

2) Once you have the title on your layout, select it (press control and click on the layer-you should see blinking dotted lines called marching ants around it). While selected, choose a color and make it your foreground color. Select Edit>Fill>Foreground Color. The title should be filled in with the color you have set as your foreground color. At this point, you can also play with Layer Blend Modes to sample different effects.
