This month the freebie is something a little different and fun! Keeping a digital page of a loved one as your computer wallpaper is a fun way to use digital scrapbook graphics. They just need to be sized to your computer monitors resolution. We sized ours at 1024x768.

Step 1 Download and unzip the file CottageArtsScreenSaver.zip from the Free Download section of this newsletter.

Step 2 Customize your layout by adding a photo and any personalization/journaling you would like. (Tutorial on using Simply ScrapOver Templates)

Step 3 Save as a jpeg file (.jpg suffix)

Step 4 Go to your main desktop on your computer, right click, and choose Properties.

Step 5 Select the Desktop Tab. In the desktop tab section click the Browse button and navigate to your saved .jpg file. Click Open. Select the position you would like your background to be (choosing stretch will fill the screen-but may distort). Click OK to activate.

Enjoy your customized desktop background at work, at home, on your laptop, or on any computer!
