When I print my 8.5"x11" Calendar Pages, there is a white border all around the edge of the paper. Can I get rid of it so it prints to the edge?

Our 2007 Calendar ScrapOver Templates are sized at 8.5x11 to be able to print on standard printers on standard sized paper. Many printers do not have what is called "full bleed" capability. This means that it can print all the way to all the edges of the paper. Typically printers leave about an ¼ to ½ of an inch of a border that it cannot print on. Check your printer to see if it has a "Fit to Page" option. If it does, check it and it will automatically resize the image to fit onto the page. It will still leave a white border, but it will reduce the image size so that the image isn't being "cut-off" but instead is being made to fit the page.

If you do not see a "Fit to Page" option, you may want to resize your image manually. To do this select Image>Image Size from the menu bar. Insert the values of 8.25 inches to replace 8.5. Be sure the "Constrain Proportions" box is checked. You should see the height size change to match the proportion of the width size.

Print your calendar pages. You can choose to keep your calendar with the white border to serve as a decorative background, or you may wish to use a paper trimmer to trim off the excess white border.
