ruche spring lookbook
Hello again! Twice in one day???? What’s up with me?!!
I just had to pop in to share another source of amazing visual inspiration: Issuu, an 0nline publication viewer/search engine with the most wonderful database in which to get lost (in a mighty beautiful way!).
most popular creative publications
Since my B.S. is in BCIS (business communication information systems – yes, way too long of a name!) I am always intrigued at databases and searching functions. Issuu is no exception!
As evident in my last two posts, Pinterest is my go-to visual tool since it is genius in its design and presentation…just like a designer’s mood board. But Issuu is unique in that it consists of on-line publications of all subjects…the art, photography, interior styling, and craft genres seem to attract the most views. How funny…those are also what I’m interested in (and most other women in the world)!

So far I am smitten wholeheartedly with Ruche. Their clothing line is dreamy beyond dreamy, but it is their lookbooks and photography that seem to speak to my similar sun-drenched style. Looking at this issue of Ruche reminded me of an image of mine from a year ago.

And, I may just be inspired to make something more dreamy/ethereal with our new botanical banners after seeing the two-page spread at the beginning of this post! I’ll be sure to share it if I do.
I was also inspired by the soft pink hues of Ruche’s spring line…and dug up this image.

In our June 11, 2010 Newsletter I shared a tutorial for giving your images a sun-washed look in post processing if you didn’t capture it in camera. FYI…At the bottom of each newsletter is a link to our recent past issues if you want to read the tutorial again.
Happy creating! See you tomorrow with the 3D dimension how-to. Michelle
