We hosted Thanksgiving for my family last week, and enjoyed the preparations as much as the day itself. I spent much of the week prior printing and framing recent layouts, as well as a collage of Alyssa's grad photos. Sprinkled here and there around the house were favorite candids of each of the nieces and nephews. I encourage everyone to print and display your photos and layouts, and change them often. That's one of the huge benefits of digital!

SNOW! Yea...they are predicting our first storm this weekend...nothing like the white fluffy stuff to get me in the holiday spirit. Speaking of snow, our new products are filled with snowflakes, icicles, and holiday fun! And this issue we're showcasing Beth's talent at holiday card making. Enjoy!

Photography Tip: Use our Naturals Paper Pak Series as photo blend texture overlays, as shown on the focal photos above. Simply change blend mode (Overlay is often a great choice) or reduce opacity of paper to give photos a unique coloration and texture. Desaturate paper (remove the color) and use Overlay mode to take advantage of the texture without affecting the color of the photo.

In the sweet photo above, Rachael Czepyha used a variety of papers from our Naturals 6 Paper Pak with different blend modes and duo copies of the photo (one blurred) to create a unique and beautiful result. See our gallery for more details.
