Welcome to the
May 2007 edition of the
Simply Digital Newsletter!
Last month I had the adventure of
a lifetime when I was able to assist in teaching a
photography/digital art seminar in Molokai, Hawaii, with some amazing artists:
Theresa
Airey,
Rikki Cooke,
Dewitt Jones,
Lynette Sheppard, and
Jonathan Kingston...I
came home changed and inspired, most excited about infrared and blur techniques
(more about that next month...).
In on-going issues of this
newsletter, I will be focusing more on photography, as well as providing tools and
tips using technology to make it even more beautiful, productive, and fun.
For starters, I created two sets
of nature inspired collage papers,
Naturals, perfect for showcasing your
photography, as well as using as overlays (using layer blend modes) to give your
images more depth, texture, and details. If you are a professional photographer
or graphic artist, we have commercial use information available
here.
This photo of me taken by Dewitt at
sunrise on the coast of Molokai pretty much sums up how this art form makes me
feel...alive! What inspires you?
