In the August edition of Simply Digital Plus are instructions on how to make your own tag from a digital paper.  Here are some example of tags created by Sharon Hammond using papers and embellishments from CDs and Page Paks from CottageArts.net.

This month's focus is on: Tags

Tags are a great way to add interest, a place to journal a title, a paragraph or just the date. Tags come in all sizes and have lots of different uses. Many times the tag should appear to be attached with a fastener or can be hung on a fiber. We will discuss fasteners and fibers in  future issues of Simply Digital Plus.  See the examples below of how tags can be used. (click on pictures for a larger view)

ALove.jpgEmbellished  - a simple single embellishment can add an aura of simplistic elegance or drama.

Pumpkin_Patch.jpgTitle - layer the embellishments to make a new embellishment or give a sense of depth.

believe_in_yourself.jpgJournaling- by randomly placing your embellishments you can add a sense of fun and whimsy to make a layout eclectic and full of excitement.

Grow_sample.jpgDate/Small Info - by placing your embellishments in a symmetrical manner your layout gains a sense of order and formality.

Photo Tag - by printing and cutting out the embellishments it's easy to create a three dimensional look by just folding it upward or crumpling.
