A Mother is a hero

A mother is a hero
To everyone on earth
For no one but a mother
Can give life by giving birth

A mother nurtures little ones
And teaches through the years
And can bring smiles back to a face
Where once were childish tears.

A mother's love grows stronger
As the years come and go
You are my hero, Mother
I just wanted you to know!

How awesome is the responsibility
That God has entrusted to me
And how precious is the gift
That before me I now see.

My heart is walking there
Outside my body's frame.
It is in another little being
And wears another name.

I hear love in her childish laughter
And feel it in her embrace
As her soft sweet lips
Brush against my face.

She is so breathtakingly beautiful
So loving and unique
My jewel, my baby girl
My heartbeat at my feet.

A Mother’s Love Is

I never really knew
What unconditional
  love was
Until I held you
For the first time!

I never understood
Completely
What a mother was
Until I became one!

I never really understood
The depth of God’s love—

Love that gave His son
           For us
Until I became a parent!

Thena
Mother

I sit and think of you
And all of our yesterdays
Considering all the love and blessings
That you have brought my way.

I wish I could remember as a baby
All of the things you did for me
But I'm sure they reside  in my heart
Safe for all eternity.

For the things you did for an infant
Helped to shape the child I became
The comfort and the love from you
And the loving way you spoke my name.

As I grew into adulthood
Your wisdom and values were instilled inside me
And when I sometimes got a bit of f course
You were always there to guide me.

With such unconditional love
You loved me no matter what I did
And your love empowered me
From the time I was a kid

You are the reason for
The person I grew to be
And having you for my mother
Is the greatest blessing God gave me!

Moms and Daughters

Moms and daughters
Whether far apart or near
Always have the time
To share laughter or a tear.

There is a special bond
That cannot be replaced
A bond that is created
Before their first embrace.

A mother loves her daughter
Before she is ever born.
She loves her before her womb
Keeps the tiny baby warm.

Daughters love their mothers
And want to keep them near
They represent unconditional love
And nurturing warmth and cheer.

When separated by miles and miles
It is really hard on each
But God above created a love
That through all the miles can reach.

For in each heart He put something
That draws them to each other
Through time and space and eternity
The love of a daughter and her mother.

I'll Be There

Don't ever think a Mother
Will entirely leave you on your own
No matter where you go or what you do
You will never be alone.

On that first day of preschool
I watched until I knew
That someone there was ready
To take good care of you.

As you went off to kindergarten
And then grade school and such
I knew just where you were
And how to quickly get in touch.

In high school you were so grown up
And didn't need your parents near
But your dad and I knew what was going on
We kept open eyes and listening ears.

In college you were away from home
And thought you were on your own
And you made the moves to keep in touch
By little notes and by the telephone.

You thought that it was by your design
That you took such an active part
But long ago we planted these seeds of love
In your child size heart!

So look around you child of mine
And know that when our hands can't touch
And physically I'm not there
My love has gone before you
As I surround you dear child in prayer.

A Mother's Love

I believe that a mother
Is a privileged being
She can bring life into the world
In the form of a baby boy or girl.
