Newsletter
Volume 2, Issue 8
Welcome to the May 2005
edition of the Simply Digital Newsletter!
Thanks for all who entered our '2 Celebrate'
layout contest! Winners will by notified by May 31st.
We are excited to announce the highly requested
CD, Simply School Days, featuring templates, papers, and embellishments geared
for elementary through college-aged school activities, including sports,
classes, projects, field trips, and social events. Themes of graphics include
science, industrial arts, home ec, art, social studies, math, language arts,
foreign languages, phy ed, graduation, about me, sick day, snow day, first
dance, holiday parties, spring break, report card, friends, honor roll, band,
choir, affirmations, and more!
The CD is aimed at scrappers, as well as
students and educators,
and thus, we have decided to create the 12 fully-layered templates at 8.5x11, and
have both 12x12 and 8.5x11 background papers (over 100), 4 AlphaSets, as well as
over 170 unique embellishments, including more than 40 titles/quotes/word nuggets. We
created 12 matching ScrapOver templates, but could not
fit them on the CD, so we're offering
them in two separate download kits of 6 ScrapOvers each. Our newsletter special is to get
your choice of one
of the download kits for just $2 with any Simply School Days CD preorder. The
download kits are available for download immediately, and we expect the CDs to start shipping
in just 2 weeks.
Educators, please contact us at
licensing@cottagearts.net for
special pricing for using this CD (as well as any other CD or download) in the classroom
setting. Please provide school name and address in your inquiry, as well as your
contact information. We will contact you directly via phone or e-mail with more
information. Or click on our commercial users inquiry button at
www.cottagearts.net and fill out the
pop-up form, indicating it is for educational use.
Enjoy the end of the school year festivities,
taking photos of the little things that matter. In the layout at right, I am
quickly reminded that Philip is left-handed like me, but I wish I would have
taken a macro shot of his first cursive handwriting. Since I've kept some of his
school work, I can still scan it in to add to a future layout.
Happy Memorial Day!
